Our Faith tells the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection in picture-strip and explains it in words. This mixture of colorful illustration and easy text makes Our Faith a great resource for a Catholic family. The reverent picture-strip engages the children while the text shows how the teaching of the Church flows from the life of Our Lord. It is for children ages 9-13. There are simple quizzes, coloring activities and a crossword that reinforce the teaching in an easy-to-do way. This current edition of Our Faith is a facsimile of the original, which was first published in 1993. It carries full ecclesiastical approval.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Faith and The Easter Gospel are substantially the same book, but with some differences. While the picture-strip illustrations of the life of Christ contain the same content, The Easter Gospel retains the original hand-inked coloring, while Our Faith is colored digitally. And The Easter Gospel was originally written for both Anglicans and Catholics, while Our Faith is written for Catholics and therefore contains more information on the Sacraments and the Mass. The two books vary somewhat in the activities such as coloring, mazes and crossword puzzles.
